Stability and Freedom:
100-Hour Immersion + 200-Hour Teacher Training
Build strength without rigidity. Cultivate freedom that supports.
A modern, alignment-based yoga training that integrates functional movement, anatomy, breathwork, and philosophy—so you can practice, and teach with clarity, confidence, and depth.
This training is for dedicated students and aspiring teachers who want more than shapes and sequences.
You’ll learn how to understand the body from the inside out—how stability supports mobility, how strength creates ease, and how intelligent alignment allows for sustainable, adaptable practice over time.
Rooted in the Universal Principles of Alignment and informed by contemporary movement science, this program offers a clear pathway: you will cultivate stability in your body and nervous system so that greater freedom can emerge in movement, practice, and teaching.
Stability and Freedom, bridges traditional yoga with contemporary movement science.
Alongside alignment-based asana, you’ll explore principles drawn from functional strength training, bodyweight conditioning, and rehabilitation-informed movement. These perspectives deepen your understanding of how bodies stabilize, adapt, and move efficiently.
You will develop your own capacity to lead a resilient life of freedom by cultivating stability as well as flexibility, and integrating body, mind, and heart. This training is for anyone who loves, or is curious about yoga, and who wants to learn and experience life more fully.
The work is adaptable across modalities and tools, supporting long-term evolution in both personal practice and teaching.
This 100 hour Immersion is Part I of Suzanne’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Those who wish to continue may graduate to Part II which focuses on the Art of Teaching and be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200.
Next start date: Fall 2026.
Rooted in Aligment, Evolving in Practice
Suzanne’s teaching is deeply informed by Anusara Yoga and the Universal Principles of Alignment, while also integrating modern anatomy, nervous system awareness, and functional movement.
This training honors the heart-centered and life-affirming spirit of the Anusara tradition while expanding into a more contemporary, adaptable approach to practice and teaching.
Anusara Yoga provides an elegant, intuitive system of alignment steps called “Universal Principles of Alignment” based on anatomy and bio-mechanics, which can be equally be applied to deeper levels of mind, emotion, and intuition. Of Iyengar-lineage, Anusara®Yoga is infused with the teachings of Non-Dualism, where the body, mind, and spirit are not separate but one, and where freedom and vibrance don’t need to be ‘earned’, but exist inside of us already, and can be tapped by aligning these three (body, mind and spirit).
